NX X Manufacturing Essentials

NX X Manufacturing is a scalable solution powered by the cloud that extends access to manufacturing data across the enterprise. When NC programming capabilities aren’t required, NX X Manufacturing Essentials serves as an ideal entry point — enabling users to visualize and interact with 3D part models and manufacturing information directly within the NX X Manufacturing environment.

Key features

Data management: gain access to CAM data management and enable cloud file management, including check-in and check-out of manufacturing files and revision control. Explore features that help identify dependencies between design parts and CAM setups, while integrated discussion threads and task assignments support cross-functional collaboration between designers and manufacturers.  

Manufacturing visualization capabilities: review setups, operations and toolpaths and provide feedback to authors of NC and CMM programs as well as 3D printing build jobs. Generate production-ready G-code using postprocessors from a cloud-based library with over 1,000 postprocessors through Post Hub. Modify existing or create new postprocessors with the Post Configurator, create kinematics models of machine tools using the machine tool builder 

CAD visualization tools: export or import and visualize part and assembly models in various file formats including: Parasolid, IGES, DXF, STEP, STL, and JT.

Except guest users, all Authorized Users of Teamcenter Share cloud services will receive access to "Getting Started with Siemens Xcelerator Academy" (LAAS49000) on-demand training on the Siemens Xcelerator Academy portal.
